Home safe

We safely arrived home today. God really blessed us as severe storms were predicted all along our route. We hit some heavy rain, but no thunderstorms, so that was nice. Both on the drive there and back we saw major traffic back-ups in the opposite direction, some adding an hour or more to those poor people’s commutes, but our way was clear both going and coming. I was blown away by how well behaved Bug-a-Boo was the whole drive. There were only brief, mild moments where he protested being in his carseat so long. We had to stop for the pregnant lady to use the restroom more than for the toddler to get out and run! Maybe it was partly due to our spending MANY hours this week at the park, so he had gotten some of his wiggles out – who knows, but I praise God! When we got home and the rain stopped, he was quick to head out to enjoy his new basketball hoop that I picked up on last weekend’s yard-saling spree. It was a great trip, but it’s good to be home.
