After accomplishing some good yard work as a family over the weekend, last night we finally did something we've wanted to do for quite a while.
We got out tent camping! The kids did great. It was a bit crazy as this was our first time out in about 7 years, but it was worth it. Bug was so excited he hardly knew what to do! Baby Doll (who is hardly a baby as she nears 3) was a bit less certain, but had a great time anyway. While I enjoy a hotel most of the time, every now & then there is nothing like getting out and sleeping right in the midst of God's creation to revive my soul. I can't wait until our next trip out.
